வடநாட்டிலிருந்து (பருச்கச்) குஜராத்  முதல் திருநெல்வேலி நாங்குநேரி வரை இவர் தவம் ஏற்றியே இடங்கள் இந்திய முழுவதும் உள்ளன. இவரது துணையாள் பெயர் புலோமா. புராணங்கள் கயத்தி என்று இன்னும் ஒரு பெயரையும் முன் வைக்கிறது.

சித்தர்கள், இருடிகள், ரிஷிகளுக்கு தேசாந்தர  நியமங்கள் கிடையாது. ஆகையால் வேறு எங்கெல்லாம் அவர் தவ ஞான சீவ தளங்கள் உள்ளது
என்பது அவர்களுக்கே வெளிச்சம்.


 பிருகு என்னும் ஞானி

வேதங்கள் பிறந்த எல்லாம் ஒரே பொருளான இறைவனை பற்றி விவரிக்க தான். பின் இறை அனுபவம்  தனக்குள் அடைந்தவர்கள், தெள்ள தெளிந்து உரைப்பது  உபநிஷத் ஆகும். அது போல தைத்ரிய உபநிஷத், யசுர் வேதத்தை சார்ந்து வருவது. அதில் பிருகு முனியின் ஞான அனுபவத்தை "பிருகு வள்ளி" பதிவு செய்துள்ளது. அதன் கருத்தை கிழே காணலாம். 

பிருகு முனி பிரம்ம ஞானம் பெறுவதற்காக வருணனை நோக்கி வேண்டுகிறார்.  கேள்வி மற்றும்  விடை  என்ற சம்பாசனையில் அமைய பெற்றுள்ளது இந்த உபநிஷத். இதில் 5 அனுவாகம்  (பகுதி), பிருகு முனி  பிரமத்தை அடைய அவர் எடுத்த முயற்சியையையும், அடைந்த ஞானத்தையும் காட்டுகிறது

Stance 1 of Bhriguvalli


Bhrigu, the son of Varuna, approached his father Varuna, saying, "Sir, please teach me Brahman". To him, Varuna said thus: "Food (annam), Life (pranan), Sight (sakshu), Hearing (srodhram), Mind (manas), Speech (vaak)". To him, he said: " that everything in the universe originates from Brahman, exists in Brahman and unfolds through Brahman and merges in Brahman alone." . BhriguRishiperformed tapason this upadesa. Bhrigu Valli is to know the process of sadhana for brahma vidhya. Brahma vidhya sadhanam is thavam. Concluding Food (Annam) as Brahman


முதல் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி 
பிருகு தன் தந்தையான வருணனை அணுகி "எனக்கு பிரமத்தை போதியுங்கள்" என வேண்டுகிறார்.  அதற்கு வருணன் அன்னம் (உணவிலிருந்து ஆவி ரூபமாக உள்ள  சுக்கிலம்), காணுதல்,  கேட்டல், மனம்,  வாக்கு" ஆகியவைகளை கூறுகிறார். பின்னர்  "எங்கிருந்த எல்ல சீவன்கள் வந்தது, எங்கே வசிக்கிறது, எங்கே  மறுபடியும் சென்றடைகிறது " அறிந்தால் அதுவே பிரமம் என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.
தவத்தில் ஆழ்ந்து பின் அன்னமே பிரம்மம்  என்று முடிவு செய்கிறார் பிருகு முனி

Stance 2 of Bhriguvalli


Now that all jeevas get created from annam. They live on annam. In the end they become annam. But since annam itself has a beginning and end, he doubted whether this can be Brahmam. Hence he approached his father again and asked him to teach him about Brahmam. Lord Varunaadvises him to enquire into Tapas again and says Tapas in Brammam. Bhrigu muni now meditates and comes to a conclusion that Pranan (Prana) is bramhan. However Varuna asks him to meditate again

 இரண்டாம் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி


அன்னம் தான் பிரம்மம் என்றாலும், எல்லா சீவன்களும் அதை சார்ந்து இருந்தாலும் அதற்கும் ஒரு ஆரம்பமும், முடிவும் உள்ளதே. ஆகையால் அது பிரம்மாக இருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லை என்று உணர்ந்து மறுபடியும் தந்தையிடம் பிரம்மத்தை பற்றி உபதேசம் கேட்கிறார். அதற்கு வருணனோ தவம் இயற்றி பிரம்மத்தை அறிந்து கொள்ள சொல்கிறார். தவத்திற்கு பிறகு பிராணன் தான் பிரம்மம் என்ற முடிவுக்கு வருகிறார். அனால் வருணன் மறுபடியம் தவம் ஏற்ற சொல்கிறார்.  

Stance 3 of Bhriguvalli

Bhrigu now concludes that manas is the reason we know pranan after his meditation. Without mind how can one understand or know the prana. Thinking manas is the Brahman he approached his father to clarify if manas is Brahmam. Lord Varuna advises him to enquire into Tapas again. Bhrigu muni now meditates again 

மூன்றாம் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி

பிருகுமுனி இப்போது மனம் தான் பிரானை உணர காரணமாக உள்ளது என்று முடிவி செய்கிறார். மனம் என்று ஒன்று இல்லாவிட்டால் பிராணனை எப்படி உணர முடியும். ஆகையால் மனமே பிரம்மம்  என்று  நினைத்து தந்தையிடம் சென்று கேட்கிறார். அதற்கு அவர் நீ மறுபடியும் சென்று தியானம் செய் என்கிறார்.

Stance 4 of Bhriguvalli

Bhrigu now concludes that intellegence is important to manas.. Without intelligence how can one understand the manas. Thinking manas is the Brahman he approached his father to clarify if intelligence is Brahmam. Lord Varuna advises him to enquire into Tapas again. Bhrigu muni now meditates again deeply.

நான்காம்  அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி


பிருகு இப்போது புத்தி தான் மனதை விட முக்கியமானது என்று முடிவு செய்கிறார் . புத்தி இல்லாமல் எதையும் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாது என்பதை உணர்கிறார். இதை தந்தை முன் வைக்கிறார். அதற்கு அவர்
நீ மறுபடியும் சென்று தியானம் செய் என்கிறார்.

Stance 5 of Bhriguvalli

Bhrigu in deep trance goes to the state of Ananda and understands that Anandha is beyond intellegence(Vignana). All the next songs talk as aham annam. There is a song that comes out of ecstacy by aham annam when he is in the state of Anandha and see the golden jyothi. This is the jagarat state of Jeeva (Agnaya)

ஐந்தாம் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி


பிருகு முனி இப்போது ஆழ்ந்த த்யானத்தில் பேரானந்த நிலையை அடைந்து
சுகிக்கிறார் . அகம் அன்னம் என்று பாடல்கள் தொடர்கின்றது. அதில் பேரானந்த
நிலையை "ஹா வூ, ஹா வூ " என்று யோகின் இன்பம்  தெரிகிறது.  பின் அந்த ஆனந்த ஜ்யோதியை கண்டேன் என்பதையும்
தெளிவாக கூறுகிறார். அந்த பேரானந்த உபநிஷத் பாடல் கீழ் வருமாறு..

 ஹா...வூ , ஹா..வூ (பேரின்பத்தின் வெளிபாடாக இந்த சத்தம்  ..அகமே அன்னம், அகமே அன்னம், அகமே அன்னம். நானே அன்னத்தை உண்பவன்,நானே அன்னத்தை உண்பவன், வாக்கு உரைப்பவன் அகமே,  வாக்கு உரைப்பவன் அகமே, முழு முதலும் அகமே, உருவமும், அருவமும் ஆகி நின்ற மெய்யே, பழம் பொருளே, இரவா வரம் கரு பொருளே. அன்னம் அளிப்பவனே, என்னை காக்கும் காவலனே. அகமே அன்னம், அகமே அன்னம். நானே உண்ணுகின்றேன் அந்த உண்ணும் அகத்தை உண்பவன். அதனாலே  நான் பிரபஞ்சமானேன். அந்த அருட் பெரும்  சொர்ண சோதி நானானேன்.

இதனை அழகாக மாணிக்கவாசகர் அனுபவத்தோடு ஒப்பிடலாம்

மாசற்ற சோதியே மலர்ந்த மலர்ச்சுடரே
  தேசனே தேனார் அமுதே சிவபுரனே


அடியார்க்கு அன்னம் பாலித்தல், அன்னம் பாலை பிரித்து எடுத்தல்
என்ற வாக்கியங்கள் ஞானம் சார்ந்து இருப்பதை உணரலாம்

அய்யன் சப்தரிஷிகளில் ஒருவர். இந்த 7 வர்  உலகத்தின் அவயன்களாய் படைப்பிலும், காப்பதிலும் பெரும் பங்கு வகிக்கின்றனர். சதுர் புஜன்கலான மனம், சித்தி, புத்தி,  அகங்காரம் ஆளுகின்ற திருமாலை  பிரதானப் படுத்தி ஞான தத்துவங்கள் அமைத்தவர். ஆருடம் என்னும் சோதிட சாத்திரத்தின் குருவாக விளங்குபவர்.  தமிழில் பிருகு நாடி என்றும் பிருகு நந்தி நாடி என்றும் அறியலாம்.

From tamil wiki: "மகரிஷி பிருகு, ஏறக்குறையா கி.மு3000 ஆம் ஆண்டு, திரேதா யுகத்தில் எழுதிய இன்நூலே சோதிட சாஸ்திரத்தின் முதல் நூலாகக்கருதப்படுகிறது. ஆனால் தற்கால ஆய்வின்படி இது பல்வேறு காலக்கட்டங்களில் அவரது சீடர்களால் எழுதப்பட்டது என்று கூறப்படுகிறது. நவகிரஹங்களின் இடத்தைப்பொறுத்து 5,௦௦,௦௦௦ ஜாதகங்களை இவர் கணித்து வைத்திருந்ததாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது. இவை அனைத்தும் தற்பொழுது அழிந்துவிட்டன. நாலந்தா பல்கலையில் இருந்த இவை முகலாய படையெடுப்பால் அழிந்து விட்டன. எனினும் ஒரு சில பகுதிகள் ராஜஸ்தான் மாநிலத்திலும், பஞ்சாப் மாநிலத்திலும் சில சோதிட வல்லுனர்களிடம் இருப்பதாக கூறப்படுகிறது"

வடநாட்டிலிருந்து (பருச்கச்) குஜராத்  முதல் திருநெல்வேலி நாங்குநேரி வரை இவர் தவம் ஏற்றியே இடங்கள் இந்திய முழுவதும் உள்ளன. இவரது துணையாள் பெயர் புலோமா. புராணங்கள் கயத்தி என்று இன்னும் ஒரு பெயரையும் முன் வைக்கிறது.

சித்தர்கள், இருடிகள், ரிஷிகளுக்கு தேசாந்தர  நியமங்கள் கிடையாது. ஆகையால் வேறு எங்கெல்லாம் அவர் தவ ஞான சீவ தளங்கள் உள்ளது
என்பது அவர்களுக்கே வெளிச்சம்.


 பிருகு என்னும் ஞானி

வேதங்கள் பிறந்த எல்லாம் ஒரே பொருளான இறைவனை பற்றி விவரிக்க தான். பின் இறை அனுபவம்  தனக்குள் அடைந்தவர்கள், தெள்ள தெளிந்து உரைப்பது  உபநிஷத் ஆகும். அது போல தைத்ரிய உபநிஷத், யசுர் வேதத்தை சார்ந்து வருவது. அதில் பிருகு முனியின் ஞான அனுபவத்தை "பிருகு வள்ளி" பதிவு செய்துள்ளது. அதன் கருத்தை கிழே காணலாம். 

பிருகு முனி பிரம்ம ஞானம் பெறுவதற்காக வருணனை நோக்கி வேண்டுகிறார்.  கேள்வி மற்றும்  விடை  என்ற சம்பாசனையில் அமைய பெற்றுள்ளது இந்த உபநிஷத். இதில் 5 அனுவாகம்  (பகுதி), பிருகு முனி  பிரமத்தை அடைய அவர் எடுத்த முயற்சியையையும், அடைந்த ஞானத்தையும் காட்டுகிறது

Stance 1 of Bhriguvalli


Bhrigu, the son of Varuna, approached his father Varuna, saying, "Sir, please teach me Brahman". To him, Varuna said thus: "Food (annam), Life (pranan), Sight (sakshu), Hearing (srodhram), Mind (manas), Speech (vaak)". To him, he said: " that everything in the universe originates from Brahman, exists in Brahman and unfolds through Brahman and merges in Brahman alone." . BhriguRishiperformed tapason this upadesa. Bhrigu Valli is to know the process of sadhana for brahma vidhya. Brahma vidhya sadhanam is thavam. Concluding Food (Annam) as Brahman


முதல் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி 
பிருகு தன் தந்தையான வருணனை அணுகி "எனக்கு பிரமத்தை போதியுங்கள்" என வேண்டுகிறார்.  அதற்கு வருணன் அன்னம் (உணவிலிருந்து ஆவி ரூபமாக உள்ள  சுக்கிலம்), காணுதல்,  கேட்டல், மனம்,  வாக்கு" ஆகியவைகளை கூறுகிறார். பின்னர்  "எங்கிருந்த எல்ல சீவன்கள் வந்தது, எங்கே வசிக்கிறது, எங்கே  மறுபடியும் சென்றடைகிறது " அறிந்தால் அதுவே பிரமம் என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.
தவத்தில் ஆழ்ந்து பின் அன்னமே பிரம்மம்  என்று முடிவு செய்கிறார் பிருகு முனி

Stance 2 of Bhriguvalli


Now that all jeevas get created from annam. They live on annam. In the end they become annam. But since annam itself has a beginning and end, he doubted whether this can be Brahmam. Hence he approached his father again and asked him to teach him about Brahmam. Lord Varunaadvises him to enquire into Tapas again and says Tapas in Brammam. Bhrigu muni now meditates and comes to a conclusion that Pranan (Prana) is bramhan. However Varuna asks him to meditate again

 இரண்டாம் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி


அன்னம் தான் பிரம்மம் என்றாலும், எல்லா சீவன்களும் அதை சார்ந்து இருந்தாலும் அதற்கும் ஒரு ஆரம்பமும், முடிவும் உள்ளதே. ஆகையால் அது பிரம்மாக இருக்க வாய்ப்பில்லை என்று உணர்ந்து மறுபடியும் தந்தையிடம் பிரம்மத்தை பற்றி உபதேசம் கேட்கிறார். அதற்கு வருணனோ தவம் இயற்றி பிரம்மத்தை அறிந்து கொள்ள சொல்கிறார். தவத்திற்கு பிறகு பிராணன் தான் பிரம்மம் என்ற முடிவுக்கு வருகிறார். அனால் வருணன் மறுபடியம் தவம் ஏற்ற சொல்கிறார்.  

Stance 3 of Bhriguvalli

Bhrigu now concludes that manas is the reason we know pranan after his meditation. Without mind how can one understand or know the prana. Thinking manas is the Brahman he approached his father to clarify if manas is Brahmam. Lord Varuna advises him to enquire into Tapas again. Bhrigu muni now meditates again 

மூன்றாம் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி

பிருகுமுனி இப்போது மனம் தான் பிரானை உணர காரணமாக உள்ளது என்று முடிவி செய்கிறார். மனம் என்று ஒன்று இல்லாவிட்டால் பிராணனை எப்படி உணர முடியும். ஆகையால் மனமே பிரம்மம்  என்று  நினைத்து தந்தையிடம் சென்று கேட்கிறார். அதற்கு அவர் நீ மறுபடியும் சென்று தியானம் செய் என்கிறார்.

நான்காம்  அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி


பிருகு இப்போது புத்தி தான் மனதை விட முக்கியமானது என்று முடிவு செய்கிறார் . புத்தி இல்லாமல் எதையும் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாது என்பதை உணர்கிறார். இதை தந்தை முன் வைக்கிறார். அதற்கு அவர்
நீ மறுபடியும் சென்று தியானம் செய் என்கிறார்.

Stance 5 of Bhriguvalli

Bhrigu in deep trance goes to the state of Ananda and understands that Anandha is beyond intellegence(Vignana). All the next songs talk as aham annam. There is a song that comes out of ecstacy by aham annam when he is in the state of Anandha and see the golden jyothi. This is the jagarat state of Jeeva (Agnaya)

ஐந்தாம் அத்தியாயம்- பிருகு வள்ளி


பிருகு முனி இப்போது ஆழ்ந்த த்யானத்தில் பேரானந்த நிலையை அடைந்து
சுகிக்கிறார் . அகம் அன்னம் என்று பாடல்கள் தொடர்கின்றது. அதில் பேரானந்த
நிலையை "ஹா வூ, ஹா வூ " என்று யோகின் இன்பம்  தெரிகிறது.  பின் அந்த ஆனந்த ஜ்யோதியை கண்டேன் என்பதையும்
தெளிவாக கூறுகிறார். அந்த பேரானந்த உபநிஷத் பாடல் கீழ் வருமாறு..

 ஹா...வூ , ஹா..வூ (பேரின்பத்தின் வெளிபாடாக இந்த சத்தம்  ..அகமே அன்னம், அகமே அன்னம், அகமே அன்னம். நானே அன்னத்தை உண்பவன்,நானே அன்னத்தை உண்பவன், வாக்கு உரைப்பவன் அகமே,  வாக்கு உரைப்பவன் அகமே, முழு முதலும் அகமே, உருவமும், அருவமும் ஆகி நின்ற மெய்யே, பழம் பொருளே, இரவா வரம் கரு பொருளே. அன்னம் அளிப்பவனே, என்னை காக்கும் காவலனே. அகமே அன்னம், அகமே அன்னம். நானே உண்ணுகின்றேன் அந்த உண்ணும் அகத்தை உண்பவன். அதனாலே  நான் பிரபஞ்சமானேன். அந்த அருட் பெரும்  சொர்ண சோதி நானானேன்.

இதனை அழகாக மாணிக்கவாசகர் அனுபவத்தோடு ஒப்பிடலாம்

மாசற்ற சோதியே மலர்ந்த மலர்ச்சுடரே
  தேசனே தேனார் அமுதே சிவபுரனே


அடியார்க்கு அன்னம் பாலித்தல், அன்னம் பாலை பிரித்து எடுத்தல்
என்ற வாக்கியங்கள் ஞானம் சார்ந்து இருப்பதை உணரலாம்
